Title VI Policy Statement
The North Central Regional Transit District (NCRTD) is committed to compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 49 CFR, part 2, and all related regulations and directives. NCRTD assures that no person shall on the grounds of religion, race, color, national origin, gender, age, disability, income status or English proficiency be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity under any NCRTD program, activity or service.
NCRTD is also committed to assure every effort will be made to prevent the discrimination of low-income and minority populations as a result of any impact of its programs or activities in accordance with Executive Order 12898, Federal Actions to Address Environmental Justice in Minority Populations and in Low-Income Populations. In addition, NCRTD assures every effort will be made to provide meaningful access to persons that have Limited English Proficiency, in accordance with Executive Order 13166, Improving Access to Services for Persons with Limited English Proficiency.
