Passengers whose route is currently operating on a temporary Demand may reserve a ride FROM any designated stop on the route TO any designated stop on the route within the service hours. Passengers must reserve a ride at least 24 hours in advance by calling 866-206-0754 ext. 2.

NCRTD STATEMENT ON MEASURES IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19:
North Central Regional Transit District’s RTD Blue Buses provide vital transportation services within north central New Mexico. The District respects that people may be feeling anxiety and concern about the safety of public transit in the regards to COVID-19; we take this very seriously. We continue to clean and disinfect our vehicles daily and regularly utilize a disinfecting fogger. Our top priorities are to continue service to the public, and to keep them and our employees healthy and safe. Thank you for partnering with us to help prevent the spread of any germs and flu. The District asks that anyone experiencing flu symptoms refrain from boarding our vehicles. Thank you for partnering with us to help prevent the spread of any germs and flu.

NCRTD Looks to Reduce Service on Three Routes;
Opens Public Comment Period
The North Central Regional Transit District is looking to implement a series of route modifications as a result of its recent service plan update and in an effort to run routes more efficiently. Reductions in service are being planned on the 260 La Cienega, 180 El Rito and 320 Questa routes.
- 180 El Rito – Due to low ridership, modifications being looked at include reducing service to one day per week. The public is encouraged to indicate which day of the week (M-F) would best serve their needs.
- 260 La Cienega – Due to low ridership, modifications being looked at include reducing weekday services. The public is encouraged to indicate which day of the week (M-F) would best serve their needs.
- 320 Questa – Due to lack ridership between the community of Cerro north of Questa and Costilla on the Colorado state line, the District is considering reducing the Cerro to Costilla extension on the Questa route to one day per week (M-F). The public is encouraged to indicate which day of the week would best serve their needs.
Each of these routes currently provide service Monday through Friday.
The District is seeking public comment to these changes and a public hearing will be conducted at the January Board meeting to be held at on January 7 at 9:00 AM. Public comment may be submitted to the record prior to the meeting.
