Passengers whose route is currently operating on a temporary Demand may reserve a ride FROM any designated stop on the route TO any designated stop on the route within the service hours. Passengers must reserve a ride at least 24 hours in advance by calling 866-206-0754 ext. 2.

NCRTD STATEMENT ON MEASURES IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19:
North Central Regional Transit District’s RTD Blue Buses provide vital transportation services within north central New Mexico. The District respects that people may be feeling anxiety and concern about the safety of public transit in the regards to COVID-19; we take this very seriously. We continue to clean and disinfect our vehicles daily and regularly utilize a disinfecting fogger. Our top priorities are to continue service to the public, and to keep them and our employees healthy and safe. Thank you for partnering with us to help prevent the spread of any germs and flu. RTD FEES AND FARE STRUCTURE
RTD “Blue Buses” are FARE FREE on its 26 fixed routes. ( https://www.ncrtd.org/all-routes/ )
The District offers a fare-free dial-a-ride service within a zoned area in Pojoaque and Nambe. ( https://www.ncrtd.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Pojoaque-Nambe-6_4_191.pdf )
Demand response service in the Española and Taos areas are $1.00 each-way curb-to-curb. ( https://www.ncrtd.org/services/demand-response-service-and-fixed-route-flex/ )
The RTD also provides complementary paratransit service. This “origin to destination” transportation service is for persons with disabilities who cannot use the regular bus service. It is primarily curb to curb service, but door to door service is provided upon request. This service is provided during the same days and hours of operation of the fixed route service. Individuals who wish to be considered for this service will need to complete an application, have the information verified by a medical professional, and be certified by us as ADA paratransit eligible. There is no cost for this service within the designated ADA Zone, as indicated in the policy ( https://www.ncrtd.org/services/ncrtd-paratransit-services-ada/ ) Travel companions are required to pay the $1.00 fare.
There is also a 3/4 mile flex from any fixed route for a cost of $10.00 to the general public (free for ADA-certified riders). Please call 866-206-0754 ext. 2 to request this service.
