As summer winds down and backpacks start coming out of closets, it’s time to think about heading back to school, college and the daily commute. Whether you’re a student, parent or professional getting back into routine, the Blue Bus is here to make your transition a little easier with fare-free service, multiple fixed-route options and door-to-door rideshare services for only $1. 

For families, the Blue Bus offers a reliable and safe way for students to get to school. The best way to get your kids from your home to the front door of their school is with our door-to-door rideshare service MyBlue™. For only $1 per ride, MyBlue™ helps parents save time and money while giving kids a sense of independence. Riders must be at least 10 years old to ride MyBlue™ and the bus on their own. Younger children are welcome aboard, but they’ll need to be accompanied by an adult or guardian. It’s a great way to ease into the school year while also reducing traffic during those busy morning drop-offs.

Be within walking distance of your campus on the 255 Mountain Trail and 280 Eldorado routes.

In many areas we serve, MyBlue™ is the best way to get to and from school. MyBlue™ is our $1 on-demand, door-to-door rideshare service that operates within four Zones: Española, Taos, Edgewood and Pojoaque/Nambé. It’s a great option for students whose schools aren’t directly served by a fixed route. 

Here’s how MyBlue™ works: 

1. Request a Ride 
   1. Visit RideMyBlue.com, download our free MyBlue™ app or call 1-866-206-0754 and book your ride with our Customer Service Representative team. 
2. Schedule in Advance 
   1. MyBlue™ rides first come, first served, so it is important to book your trip several days in advance to ensure we can accommodate your trip. 
3. Be ready for Your Ride 
   1. A Blue Bus or EV van will pick you up at your home or starting destination. We encourage you to be prepared for when your driver arrives as they can only wait five minutes after arrival.  
4. ADA Accessibility 
   1. All MyBlue™ vehicles are ADA accessible and driven by trained, helpful drivers. 

Most local schools in our service areas fall within the MyBlue™ service zones, making it a convenient and safe way for students to travel, especially for families without access to a car or who need more flexible transportation.
